Andrews Sykes helps District Cooling Plant during maintenance & repair shutdown

We were recently approached by one of the major district cooling vendors in UAE (also commonly known as utilities supplier) to provide a temporary chiller during their planned maintenance & repair shutdown.

Dubai is famous for its skyscrapers and high rise buildings. Each of these buildings requires huge amounts of cooling that are often provided by DCPs (District Cooling Plants). These plants often range from 2,000TR – 10,000TR of various chiller packages. Often the district cooling vendors need to shut down the plant for maintenance & repairs. This might include routine maintenance, replacement of chiller spare parts or repairing damaged pipework. read more

Andrews Sykes has recently updated their ‘Product Guide’ pocket book!

The new and updated pocket guide book includes all up to date information on the various range of air conditioners, chillers, heater, ventilators, boilers and dehumidifiers offered by us. The guide also includes our new logo celebrating “50 Years of Service” in the HVAC industry.

The book is split into different sections which makes it easy to browse and user friendly to use. It comprises of all major details and specifications with high clarity images for people to relate it well to our units. read more

Forming Ice for the new Ice rink in Dubai

The summer season in UAE attracts a lot of visitors to indoor activities and play areas. The ice rinks and snow parks are one of the major attractions loved by all ages.

Andrews Sykes Climate Rental had the opportunity to work with one of the newest indoor ice rink located at the Dubai World Trade Center. The authorities had requested us for a firm and stable ice formation before the opening of the entertainment center.

The task of formation of firm ice all over the rink was carried out with the help of our 700kW Chillers, which are capable of cooling down areas to low minus temperatures and can be connected to existing pipework easily with the help of flexible hoses. read more

Andrews Sykes Climate Rental Cools Down the Event Tents

Andrews Sykes Climate Rental was contracted as the cooling partner for the marquee tents at a prestigious event which recently was held in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The event was scheduled in its huge signature white tent also known as the Big Top, which was approximately 35 meters high, which is close to a 10-storey building. The show comprised of a grand performance with 41 exotic horses and 36 aerial and acrobatic performers from all over the world giving a tribute to Abu Dhabi’s history and divine culture of the emirate. The total area spread around 2440 square meters giving the horses and performers an ample space for moving around and performing. read more

Andrews Sykes Climate Rental’s team was contacted last week by one of our clients in Abu Dhabi, who owns a restaurant in the renowned Marina Mall, Abu Dhabi. When the restaurant managers noticed that the cooling was not adequate for the amount of guests visiting them, they at once called Andrews Sykes Climate Rental, who had assisted them a quarter back for provision of adequate cooling at the same restaurant. read more

It isn’t new to see things developing for good at Andrews Sykes Climate Rental. Last month during a brainstorming discussion between our colleagues, it was decided to give a new look to all our HVAC equipment, and make it stand out from the HVAC equipment provided by other suppliers!

The re-branded equipment aims to distinguish itself from the other vendors’ equipment, highlighting the brand name of “Andrews Sykes Climate Rental” on the top.

We are proud to announce that we have given a new ‘branded’ look to our HVAC units- Air Conditioners, Chillers, and Air Handlers! With the implementation already in action, almost all of our units have been adapted with the new look and the remaining will be done shortly. read more
