Andrews Sykes Climate Rental have many years of experience providing temporary air conditioning to a wide variety of applications within hotel environments, including restaurants, large and small kitchens, lounge, sports halls and even for special events and occasions.

One of the world-famous cruise liner, which has a history spanning 5 decades, is now docked permanently at Mina Rashid, Dubai functioning as a 5-star hotel. With the summer season hitting high, the hoteliers are taking precautions to ensure guests and staff remain cool during the period. Recently, the F&B Manager for the cruise came up with an idea to introduce a new lounge into the liner. The new lounge was planned to place on the rear deck where there is ample space and it was built in a very short period. After building it there came the real issue for cooling. The HVAC design for the new lounge were not met as per the Dubai municipality HVAC standards. Hence there emerged the requirement for temporary climatic control and called up Andrews Sykes Climate Rental for a solution. read more

Temporary cooling provided for cinema during mall expansion

A mall in Dubai was recently being expanded to add more shops, restaurants & entertainment area. During this process, the main contractor approached Andrews Sykes and asked us to provide temporary cooling to the cinema while they rerouted the existing ductwork and chiller piping during the alterations.

Andrews Sykes provides 2 x 100kW Chillers & 4 x 50kW air-handlers to our Contractor while the above work commenced. This lasted for 3 months until the permanent work was complete. We worked closely with HVAC Contractor, Client, Consultant, Project Management and Main Contractor to ensure the smooth transition of the overhauling of mall. read more

Football Stadium Needed Cooling in Ras Al Khaimah!

The football stadium in Ras Al Khaimah Police Club is about to begin their series of friendly matches during the late evenings in the month of Ramadan.

With the humidity and heat building up a lot, the managers of the stadium were looking for a perfect cooling solution to keep the open sitting areas cool and comfortable for the match viewers and players.

Andrews Sykes Climate Rental was approached to provide cooling for the large outdoor area. At once the site was surveyed and a 700kW Chiller and a 660kW Air Handler was delivered and installed to cool down the area. The area accommodates approximately 150 seated guests including 50-80 VVIP and VIP guests from all over the UAE, who will be able to watch the football matches in comfort irrespective of the harsh and humid weather experienced in the Middle East. read more

Andrews Sykes Climate Rental has been awarded the cooling contract for the upcoming GCC railway line. The increasing temperatures were reducing the productivity of the workers working on this project.

With tight schedules and deadlines to be met, the construction required an effortless dedication from all its workers on this project. Which is where, Andrews Sykes Climate Rental was approached by the contractors in order to help with the cooling for the workers. Andrews Sykes Climate Rental Cools Down the Event Tents

Andrews Sykes Climate Rental was contracted as the cooling partner for the marquee tents at a prestigious event which recently was held in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The event was scheduled in its huge signature white tent also known as the Big Top, which was approximately 35 meters high, which is close to a 10-storey building. The show comprised of a grand performance with 41 exotic horses and 36 aerial and acrobatic performers from all over the world giving a tribute to Abu Dhabi’s history and divine culture of the emirate. The total area spread around 2440 square meters giving the horses and performers an ample space for moving around and performing. read more

The re-branded equipment aims to distinguish itself from the other vendors’ equipment, highlighting the brand name of “Andrews Sykes Climate Rental” on the top.

We are proud to announce that we have given a new ‘branded’ look to our HVAC units- Air Conditioners, Chillers, and Air Handlers! With the implementation already in action, almost all of our units have been adapted with the new look and the remaining will be done shortly. read more
