A ship vessel in the Sharjah Port was looking for an air handling unit for better spread of cold air while at sea or at the port.
Most ships have their permanently installed chillers incorporated within them, but when the air isn’t properly circulated and spread around, it creates an imbalance in the atmosphere which makes one area very cold and another area very hot.
Andrews Sykes Climate Rental was called to install a 660kW Air Handler with necessary accessories such as flexible ducts, hoses and cables. Our engineers delivered and installed the unit and trained the on board crew with the necessary operations of the AHU. A complete manual guiding to usage of the unit was handed over to the crew and the captain.
The vessel which was at sea for months has recently returned back and our engineers have demobilized the equipment. The ship crew and captain have thanked us for the perfect installation and the complete briefing of the equipment which came in handy while the ship was at sail.
