Andrews Sykes to the rescue of Fujairah Desalination Plant

Emergencies are unexpected and cause a lot of chaos. This reminds us of our recent project in a desalination plant in Fujairah, UAE, which suffered a sudden LV (electrical) room breakdown, which lead to halt in lot of processes.

The breakdown had obstructed the work, the employees and workers were having a hard time with the increased humidity and heat. The authorities were in need of a cooling supplier at the earliest to avoid further delays in processes.

This urgent request for air conditioners was handled by Andrews Sykes Climate Rental, where we were able to supply the required AC units in time to the plant location. 27 units of Portable Air Conditioners AS 14 were installed by our engineers to keep the desalination plant comfortable and cool. These units are one of our most popular air conditioner units and are fully automatic in operation. read more

Saving the Stables!

Recently during a magnificent event held in the capital Emirate of UAE –Abu Dhabi, Andrews Sykes Climate Rental was approached to cool down the temperatures of the stables which were home to a number of horses and stallions who were participating in the event.

During the day when the temperature rises, the horses looked dull with relatively low energy. Once the authorities noted the same, they at once approached the experts in cooling- Andrews Sykes Climate Rental!

After a brief evaluation of the site, our specialists suggested installing our 90kW High Performance Air Conditioner (HPAC) to control the temperatures which were rising day by day due to the upcoming summer season. The AC unit was installed on the same day. read more

Andrews Sykes Climate Rental for the Protection of Instruments

Andrews Sykes Climate Rental had a chance to help out the musicians who were performing at an event in Abu Dhabi, UAE. During the practice sessions, the musicians realized that due to low humidity and cold temperatures, the stringed instruments were being affected.

Stringed instruments are made out of wood, which attracts and absorbs moisture from the atmosphere. When moisture is absorbed, it tends to swell, and when it releases moisture into dry and cold air, it tends to shrink. Both situations can be harmful to the instrument as the music notes are disturbed due to these changes. read more

Andrews Sykes Climate Rental was contracted as the cooling partner for the marquee tents at a prestigious event which recently was held in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The event was scheduled in its huge signature white tent also known as the Big Top, which was approximately 35 meters high, which is close to a 10-storey building. The show comprised of a grand performance with 41 exotic horses and 36 aerial and acrobatic performers from all over the world giving a tribute to Abu Dhabi’s history and divine culture of the emirate. The total area spread around 2440 square meters giving the horses and performers an ample space for moving around and performing. read more

Andrews Sykes Climate Rental’s team was contacted last week by one of our clients in Abu Dhabi, who owns a restaurant in the renowned Marina Mall, Abu Dhabi. It isn’t new to see things developing for good at Andrews Sykes Climate Rental. Last month during a brainstorming discussion between our colleagues, it was decided to give a new look to all our HVAC equipment, and make it stand out from the HVAC equipment provided by other suppliers!

The re-branded equipment aims to distinguish itself from the other vendors’ equipment, highlighting the brand name of “Andrews Sykes Climate Rental” on the top.
