Every year in March, Dubai hosts one of the most prestigious horse racing events in the world called the Dubai World Cup. With whopping US$10 million prize money in the main race, this event attracts some on the most talented horses and jockeys in the world.

Apart from the incredible horse racing, the event also provided great entertainment before and after the main race with live performances by Janet Jackson and F&B tents, food trucks and activities for the whole family. Andrews Sykes was pleased to be asked to provide temporary cooling for one of the tents. Torrential rainfall hits UAE and Andrews Sykes provides emergency support

Last week, the UAE experienced torrential rainfall. This caused major issues around the region.

One of the leading healthcare provider located in Dubai is one of the most recognized hospitals of the region. It is one of the most visited hospitals catering to hundreds of patients every single day. Due to a sudden break down in the main air conditioning system, an immediate temporary cooling system was required for staff and critical equipment.

After a brief site visit, our expert engineers recommended the installation of our high performance air conditioner HPAC90 supported by two of our 100kW chillers and 150kW air handling units. Andrews Sykes Climate Rental was approached recently for an urgent cooling for an important conference being held in Dubai. Due to an unfortunate central air conditioning system breakdown, the conference which was scheduled on the same day was sure to be affected.
