Andrews Sykes is pleased to announce the arrival of our new industrial ventilation fans. This product line has been popular in the region based on high speed air flow which is critical for many applications.

These units are often used to improve the air quality of a particular area which is often a major health hazard to people. The most common application that these ventilation fans are used is when work is being conducted in confined areas. Examples include treatment of oil & gas tanks and during erecting bridges. Often diesel fumes from vehicles or plant equipment can also pose a health risk in confined area and fresh air needs to be ducted into the area or during demolition work. read more

Muggy conditions ahead: difference between Relative Humidity & Dew Point

In UAE, most people think that humidity increases during summer but as the below graph shows, this remains relative constant between 26% & 92% throughout the year.

Dew point is a better measure of how comfortable people will feel compared to relative humidity as it directly relates to how perspiration will evaporate from the skin. The annual range in the UAE is 9 degree Celsius to 27 degree Celsius. This increases to muggy levels from June, July, August and September. This makes people feel uncomfortable, hot and sweaty. read more

Andrews Sykes was pleased to support the Abu Dhabi F1 race by providing 2TR & 5TR Split air conditioning units to the pit lanes last year. This year we were pleased to support the Dubai Autodrome with one of their race days. Torrential rainfall hits UAE and Andrews Sykes provides emergency support

Last week, the UAE experienced torrential rainfall. This caused major issues around the region.

Our specialist Pump Division, Khansaheb Sykes, was able to assist with submersible & ground-water pumps to help the areas affected by flooding. This included basements of shopping malls, hotels, high-rise building, subway stations and roads.

Once the ground water was removed, our specialist Cooling Division, Andrews Sykes, was called to provide solutions to help dry out the affected areas. Solutions included heaters, air conditioners with heat pumps, ventilation fans & building dryers. read more

A famous mall in the capital emirate of Abu Dhabi contacted Andrews Sykes Climate Rental for a ventilation and air extraction solution.

After a brief site visit by our site engineers, it was observed that the air had been contaminated in the basement area and a complete extraction was the need of the hour. We proposed 6 units of our ventilation fans with complete ducting and the installation was carried out within a day. read more

With the initial stage of the Dubai Tram Project coming to an end, the railway network is expected to be officially launched on 11^th November 2014.

The coaches have already begun their test runs, with the most recent trial being conducted during the visit from few members of the royal family of Dubai, UAE

Andrews Sykes Climate Rental is proud to be a part of this royal tram trial, where it has provided packaged AC units and ventilation fans to ensure a smooth cooling flow wherever required.
