Evaporative coolers and cooling fans are becoming very popular for outdoor events. We recently provided EV36 & ASF950 to a Music Festival to keep the punters cool during warm evenings. This ensured they would enjoy the entertainment feeling cool and fresh.

Evaporative coolers can reduce the off-fan temperature by 7-10 degree Celsius during low humidity and used as a fan during high humidity. This is the reason they are popular in outdoor environments. Every year, Andrews Sykes is called to provide temporary cooling for warehouses. We have had many requirements ranging from comfort cooling of workers to cooling products to avoid them perishing, warping or to avoid heat damage.

Some of the interesting projects we have supported include:

Providing cooling for rice storage facility in Sharjah. Certain types of rice release toxic gas when exposed to high temperatures and humidity.

Luxury German car manufacturer in Abu Dhabi. Requires spares and parts to be kept in particular temperatures to ensure safety standards and warranty. read more

Andrews Sykes was pleased to support the Abu Dhabi F1 race by providing 2TR & 5TR Split air conditioning units to the pit lanes last year. This year we were pleased to support the Dubai Autodrome with one of their race days. When it comes to entertainment, Dubai has something for everyone. Each new day brings with it new hangout locations, new junctions and entertainment centers. Andrews Sykes Climate Rental was pleased to be a proving AC units and Coolers to a recent inauguration event of a new skate park in town.

Dubai has many Amusement Parks, Theme Parks & Entertainment Areas under construction. These are great places to enjoy all year but particularly in the summer months.

With a motive to let kids have a convenient hang out area, the skate park was launched as a community initiative. Our experts have provided the AS 14 air conditioners and EV 25 evaporative cooler units to keep the media launch of the venue cool and the guests happy. read more

Andrews Sykes to the rescue of Fujairah Desalination Plant

Emergencies are unexpected and cause a lot of chaos. This reminds us of our recent project in a desalination plant in Fujairah, UAE, which suffered a sudden LV (electrical) room breakdown, which lead to halt in lot of processes.

The breakdown had obstructed the work, the employees and workers were having a hard time with the increased humidity and heat. The authorities were in need of a cooling supplier at the earliest to avoid further delays in processes.

This urgent request for air conditioners was handled by Andrews Sykes Climate Rental, where we were able to supply the required AC units in time to the plant location. 27 units of Portable Air Conditioners AS 14 were installed by our engineers to keep the desalination plant comfortable and cool. Andrews Sykes Climate Rental Cools Down the Event Tents

Andrews Sykes Climate Rental was contracted as the cooling partner for the marquee tents at a prestigious event which recently was held in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The event was scheduled in its huge signature white tent also known as the Big Top, which was approximately 35 meters high, which is close to a 10-storey building. The show comprised of a grand performance with 41 exotic horses and 36 aerial and acrobatic performers from all over the world giving a tribute to Abu Dhabi’s history and divine culture of the emirate. The total area spread around 2440 square meters giving the horses and performers an ample space for moving around and performing. read more
