Andrews Sykes Climate Rental division received a phone call from the top management of one of the prestigious event companies in UAE to discuss about the temporary cooling for the product launching ceremony of their customer. The event company wanted Andrews Sykes to come up with a centralized and a most elegant looking plant to complement the interior fit out.

Our team of experts from Chiller Rental division visited the site and after accessing the site condition, we have proposed our Eco Friendly Air cooled chiller complete with air handling unit (AHU). During summer and humid seasons in the UAE, it is really tough to work inside the building under construction due to soaring temperature and humidity. Hence, most civil contractors explore ways and measures to provide workers with a comfortable and safe work environment. Due to this demand, Andrews Sykes is called to provide 700kw Chiller & 660kw AHU not only to keep the workers comfortable and productive but also to keep away any damage to their internal fit-outs and joineries.

Central cooling system evenly distributes the air to more specific and sensitive areas. The project requires 27 degree Celsius to 29 degree Celsius with 55 to 60% RH, and with air cooled chiller and air handler we can maintain off-coil temperature of 15 degree Celsius. Andrews Sykes Climate Rental was approached by a market leading Facilities Management company to provide a temporary chiller solution for the shopping mall while the permanent unit was sent to the manufacturer for refurbishments and overhauling of compressors. This process takes 2-4 so Andrews Sykes provides temporary cooling to ensure the mall could continue as usual without shoppers being affected.

Andrews Sykes provided 1 x 100kw (28TR) temporary chiller with supporting circulation pump, hoses and accessories. Andrews Sykes was pleased to power shore power & cooling to military vessels and submarines as they entered port in the UAE to restock supplies. UAE is home to many bases and international forces which includes airbases, military camps, navy and air forces. Andrews Sykes provided a temporary solution including 2 x 700kW Chillers along with buffer tank, accessories, cable and hoses. This was supported with auxiliary power which included 2 x 1000kVA (1 running & 1 x standby).

Due to the high ambient temperatures during summer in the UAE & GCC, Andrews Sykes also provides many air conditioning units to the temporary man camps. These include PAC22 (2TR split AC units) and PAC60 (5TR split AC) for the accommodation and HPAC45 (12TR package unit) and HPAC90 (25TR package unit) for the kitchens, warehouses, hangers and other large structures. read more
